Who we are
The Innovation for Impact Network is a community of practice for innovation leaders at impact-driven organizations with global footprints (particularly INGOs & UN Agencies).
Since 2021, our members across all impact areas convene on a regular basis to exchange best practices, work together on collective action projects, and make our experience of building up innovation units in mission-driven organizations accessible to our sector.

Our ultimate goal is to build a culture of innovation in the non-profit sector that breaks down silos while fostering interdisciplinary learning, experimentation, and improvement, which creates lasting social and environmental impact.
We come together to:
Collaborate, learn, and share best practices to accelerate the pace of innovation and increase the impact of our respective organizations.
Support each other in overcoming strategic challenges, replicating what works across organisations and tackling key knowledge and action gaps we identify in INGO/UN spaces.
Make our collective expertise accessible by sharing tools, stories, trainings tailored to innovation staff in the non-profit sector.

What we do
Collective Action Groups
Members form sub-groups to take action on specific topics, like creating open-source resources on scaling innovations, integrating and advocating for responsible use of Artificial Intelligence, hosting cross-organizational staff exchanges and more.
In-Person Gatherings
We hosted our first gathering in 2021 in Romania to build community and make progress on our shared goals in person. Our members have also arranged their own meet-ups and learning exchanges around the world.
Monthly
Sessions
Our network connects on a monthly basis to share learnings, showcase our innovation work and troubleshoot challenges together. Each virtual meetup topic is guided by our needs, interests and curiosities.
